Shaker Christmas Ornament by Michele

Good morning my crafty friends!  I know today is Halloween but it's beginning to feel a lot like tie to make some Christmas crafts.   Michele here with something fun for the holidays!  It is hard to believe how fast this year is flying by!  Christmas is just around the corner!

Every year I make ornaments.  Some I give away and one of them I keep.  My tree is full of ornaments I've made...along with my kids's ornaments from when they were little!

I created this ornament with 2 dies with an oval cut out of the window.  I used the Fancy Sentiments Sticker to place right over my acetate window and trimmed the excess off.

The ornament was cut using water color paper and given a coating of Tim Holtz inks.  I spritzed it with water for a fun effect! I topped it with a poinsettia colored with Copic markers, leaves, silver jingle bells, and silver twine.

So glad you stopped by today!
Have a great day!

October Planner Pages by Tangii

Hey yall, Tangii here.  For today's post I did some playing with some Halloween stickers and Planner stamps (all items used are listed at the bottom of my post).   You could use this format for any month.  Just change up the stickers that you use.  This is my Daughter's planner and is actually a 1/2 sheet size, so 5 1/2" x 8".  I also used the Coloring Book Watercolor Pencils (12 pack).

My daughter struggles when Monday strolls around, and being the coffee lover that she is, I used the Coffee Plans, Clear Planner set on Mondays.  I also had some fun with the 31st, she still LOVES dressing up for Halloween, lol.

I used Everyday Plans, Clear Planner set for Pay Day's & Date Nights.  For the cute lil Piggy & Heart I just stamped them in black and used the Coloring Book Watercolor Pencils to color them in, I did NOT add water since this is not the correct type of paper.  I also added some "List" categories for her on the far right!  Thinking I should have added a "Clean your room" under the first category! lol

Her planner also has weekly layouts, but when I decorate my Monthly views I always make sure there is still room for writing things in!  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Crafting!

Calendar Fun by Angie

Hello SRM friends and fans! Angie here with you today.

The new year will be here soon enough, so why not design a SRM calendar for yourself or as a gift?? SRM has so many amazing stickers and stamps that would look amazing on your calendar!

I started with the adorable 6 x 6 calendar, which is the perfect size for your desk or to sit in a small space around your home.

I'm just sharing a few of my completed pages but I hope these examples will show you how quick and easy it is to decorate this calendar.

I stamped the months for the whole calendar using the seasonal plans stamps. I also used the small sticker numbers for all of the dates on my calendar pages.

For the month of January, I embellished the calendar page with the snowflake found on the seasonal plans stamp set. I love that the stamp set has an icon to go with each month. I used some sequins from my stash to add some sparkle to the middle of each snow flake. The 'brrr..it's cold' is a sticker from the Live Life Calendar Year sticker sheet.

For the month of October, I used the adorable candy corn icon from the seasonal plans stamp set. I stamped them using black archival ink and then colored them in with markers. The candy corn border and the 'Happy Halloween' are stickers from the Stickers by the Dozen/Halloween set.

Lastly, November is embellished using the leaf icon from the seasonal plans stamp set and two stickers from the Thanksgiving Express Yourself sticker sheet.

I hope these simple but functional examples will help you create a calendar that you will look forward seeing the whole year.

Over the Rainbow Party by Jenn

Hi friends, Jenn here! My oldest daughter is about to turn 7 and has asked for a bright colorful rainbow unicorn party, so today I will be sharing some fun ideas that are sure to put a great big smile on your face!

Yesterday I shared my planner pages that had lots of details about my daughter's birthday.  Today I am sharing lots of things that I created for the party.  Ready for inspiration?  Let's go!

First up lets talk about the invitations... I used a plain white cardstock and stamped the star bunting and celebrate from the birthday planner stamps in clear embossing ink then embossed with white. I noticed I had the exact number of colors in the rainbow as stars so I used the color in Le Plume markers and colored them onto a a clear acrylic stamp block and used them like watercolor with my water brush. At the bottom I added the same colors over the embossed celebrate words to make the words pop off the page and also bring more color to the invite.

I really wanted to create treat bags or favor bags for the party....I used the glassine bags and filled them with colorful skittles and tied a little bakers twine around them with a yellow scalloped circle with the words Rainbow seeds. That was it...super simple, cute and will be fun to display.

I hope I have sparked a little creativity and inspiration in you all. I love seeing what you create with the beautiful SRM sticker products so please share using #srmstickers on instagram and Facebook....looking forward to seeing what you all create!

Rainbow Birthday Week by Jenn

Hello friends, Jenn here! I am very eager to show you a very special week in my planner this month, my daughter's 7th birthday.  Bring on the confetti, cake, rainbows and sunshine and lets jump on into this super bright cheerful spread.

I began by pulling out my planner stamps, rainbow washi, birthday stickers, and a little fun rainbow scrapbook paper cut to the boxes of my erin condren planner (1.5"x2"). I really like having a weekend banner in my planner spreads, so I chose this adorable star garland from 'Birthday Plans'. To color in the stars I used my le plume II markers colored onto an acrylic block picking up the color with my waterin blending brush. I used this same technique to color in the coffee cup on my Friday. One more quick technique ...if you love the look of patterns and no whitespace planning try using small stamps to create patterns. Washi tape is my secret to clean lines and perfect looking boxes...just be very very careful when removing and repositioning the tape it is very easy to pull the top layer off the paper.

I hope this gives you a little inspiration and perhaps a new technique or two to try. Be blessed sweet friends as you plan your beautiful life...each day is a gift spend and share it wisely.

Toy Box Plaque with Vinyl & Stickers by Tangii

Hello, Tangii here.  Today I'm playing with some Matte Vinyl.  I have a super cute Blonde Lab that is spoiled as all get out!!  This is one of his Toy Baskets and I've decided to make him a name plaque for it!

I also added a few stickers from my stash (We've Got Your Stickers - SweetSentiment - Life Is GoodExpress Yourself - Birthday)  For the ones that wouldn't show up on that black, I simply adhered them to some cardstock, cut them out and then adhered them to the plaque.

I apologize for not taking pictures along the way, honestly I was having so much fun with this and was so excited... I forgot, lol.  Ok so there are 3 layers here, the first being that pretty scalloped heart in Red Polka Dot Vinyl.  The 2nd is the heart in White Vinyl and on this one those paw prints are actually cut out so the Red Polka Dots show through (LOVE THIS!).  The 3rd layer is Huck's name, in Black Vinyl.

This is by far my favorite Vinyl of all of the brands I've used!  And I'm not saying that because this post is for SRM!  Ok, that's it for me, thanks for popping in!

For these projects I used We've Got Your Stickers - SweetSentiment - Life Is GoodExpress Yourself - Birthday, Red Polka Dot Vinyl, White Vinyl, Black Vinyl.
Happy Crafting!

Plan On It! by Angie

Hello SRM friends and fans!! Angie here with you to share  some planner pages using some of the amazing stamps, stickers and pens from SRM.

Since my planner pages already had a pink and teal theme, I knew I wanted to play up those colors. I also added in some black and white to give the pages that 'pop' of extra color.

I started with the Color in Markers. I used the pink marker. I scribbled a little bit of the pink marker on an acrylic stamping block, added some water and mixed it together to make a 'paint'. I painted that on my pages in certain spots and used some to make some splatters as well. If you try this technique, just keep in mind that the more 'paint' you add, the more your pages will warp.

Next, I gathered my SRM planner stamps and the Bible background stamps. I love how the Bible background stamps just add a little more interest to the pages. I used the Coffee Plans Stamps to stamp a reminder to drink all the coffee (not that I need a reminder!!). For the weekend banner, I stamped the banner from the Travel Plans Stamps and wrote in the word weekend using the neon LePen set. The cute little apple comes from the Seasonal Plans set. That set contains so many cute icons! The word September at the top of the page also comes from that same stamp set.

For the flowers seen on my pages, I used the Just Believe stamp set. I colored those images using the Color In Markers and Neon LePen set mentioned above. Just remember to use an archival ink when stamping images if you plan to watercolor them, that way your stamped image won't bleed.

To decorate my pages even more, I used several of SRM's awesome stickers. SRM has stickers for all occasions.

The soccer stickers you see are from Say it with stickers-soccer and Take 2-soccer. Don't be afraid to cut down your stickers to use what you want. The adorable pink circular label is from the Labels by the Dozen Bright Blank set. Those labels are useful for so many different projects.

Do you see the adorable coffee cup, shopping cart, money sign and checklist? Those are from SRM's super cute and versatile Planner Icon Sticker Sheet!

I also added in some pink and black sticker stitches and some border stickers. After adding a few bits and pieces from my stash, my planer pages look amazing and are still functional!

Head on over to the SRM Stickers store and find all of the great products that you can use on your planner pages!

Halloween Heat Transfer T-Shirt by Shantaie

Shantaie Fowler loves playing with vinyl and she had fun creating this "adult" t-shirt for Halloween!

This spirited shirt has all of the fun and whimsy of Halloween but with a bit of grown up flair.
Heat transfer vinyl is one of the greatest inventions ever for makers, crafters, and DIYers, it gives us a tool to express ourselves in anyway we can conjure up!

I used my Silhouette Cameo to create this design and cut it in reverse from white heat transfer vinyl and ironed onto a black tee. It really was that simple.
That fun ghost and those bubbles!!!
Heat transfer vinyl is really fun, and once you try it you may not be able to stop making everything you can dream up!

And she found a fun glass already made but you could probably make one using our new 751 Dishwasher Gloss vinyl.  Super fun!

What would you make for Halloween using Vinyl?  The possibilities are endless!

Pocket Calendar by Samantha

Hello! Samantha here to share a mini calendar project that also makes a great gift.

For this project you'll need some plastic badge holders (you can find these in any office store or office department of a big box store), card stock, 2018 Mini Calendar Decorative stickers, Black Jute, and an assortment of other SRM stickers to decorate your calendar pages (I used A Year of Memories 2018Stickers By the Dozen ValentineLive Life Calendar YearStickers by the Dozen PatrioticExpress Yourself SchoolWe've Got Your Sticker TreatsSticker Sentiments Shine Your Light, and We've Got Your Borders Christmas).

If you're give this as a gift and want to create a matching gift bag you'll also need a cotton bag with gold dots and Fancy Sticker Sentiments Birthday.

I make one of these every year to keep in my purse (they also make a great desk calendar). The best part is they can look completely different every time you make them. Choose any card stock or patterned paper that you like for your pages, and choose coordinating stickers.

This year I chose to use kraft paper that had gold or white printing on it. I stuck to only black stickers this year for my calendars and accent stickers, because I like the simple elegant look of black on kraft.

I tied all of the pages together with coordinating jute. Again, I used black, but depending on the card stock or patterned paper you use, you can pick any of SRM's beautiful jute colors.

These make an awesome (and inexpensive) gift. If you want to dress it up a bit for gifting, it will fit perfectly in a cotton bag

Pumpkin Candy Boxes! by Michele

Good morning!
Michele here with some fall treats!
I think these little clear boxes are so dang cute!
I took a piece of burlap and adhered it to the outside of the box.

I cut a bunch of pumpkins with my Silhouette. I inked the edges and layered them using Crafty Foam Tape.   I did a bit of Copic coloring on the leaves and layered everything on to the top of the box.  I added a sentiment from the Express Yourself Halloween Sticker set  I even cut out the teeny candy corn and adhered it to a clear button.

I tied the black and white twine and tucked the sentiment underneath and glued the button/candy corn to the top.

My boxes are all ready for my co-workers to receive, for a little sweet pick me up!!

Have a great day!

Lettering Technique with Bible Background Stamps by Karen

Hello!  Karen here today with some techniques and a video too!

Today I'm sharing several ways I utilized SRM's Bible Backgrounds stamp set this week. My favorite technique was using the "amen" Bible background to dress up plain white letters.

After cutting the letters from plain white cardstock in my die cut machine (you could use your white or light-colored stickers), I randomly stamped on top of them before removing them from the cutting mat. Next, I added a bit of marker wash to give them colors that coordinated with my faith planner layout for the week.

To watch me complete this technique and to see a few more ideas using the Bible Backgrounds stamps, watch my process video below!

Here's a close-up of my letters in my planner.

Baby's First Christmas Layout by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here with a new layout for you.
Have you already started thinking about Christmas?
I sure am! So, to get in the Christmas mood I am scrapping some pictures from our family lunch last year.
Do you remember my lovely nice Greta?
I made a layout to remember her first Christmas: she was only a month old and she was really adorable in her cute festive dress.

To create the layout I used many SRM stickers Chrismtas themed products: check out Chrismtas category in the shop, it is full of amazing items!
I chose a background paper that perfectly matched my picture colors, and started decorating: I chose to stick with traditional Christmas colors.
I layered the picture on patterned papers and used SRM stickers to add interest to the page.

I added some wood veners to add texture.

I adhered circles stickers on white cardstock, fussy cutted them and adhered them with foam tape to make them pop from the background and add depth. I love this technique, it is one of my go to in almost each layout!

I used small calendar numbers stickers to create the date on a sticker label, I handwrote the journal with black pen from Le Pen 4 Piece Set - Dark Colors and added the word Christmas from the Baby first year stickers sheet.
