Rain or Shine Thank You Card by Juliana

Hi everyone! It's Juliana here with you and today I'm sharing a Thank You card I made using the adorable Jane's Doodles Rain or Shine stamp set. I love all of the spring themed stamps that are part of this set and I thought it would be super fun to combine the adorable rain boots with the little flower bouquet.

I stamped the images on smooth white cardstock and then colored them in using colored pencils. To help with blending the color, I used Gamsol and a paper stump. I then fussy cut the rain boots and the two bouquets of flowers. I wanted to the card to have a little dimension so I used double sided adhesive to adhere one of the boots and one of the bouquets. I then mounted everything on a SRM Stickers 4" white doily before attaching it to the card front.

Thanks for dropping by and Happy Spring!

Cute & Simple Card Set by Lesley

Hello SRM Fans! Lesley here! I couldn't resist making a little set of gift cards using Jane's Coffee Time Stamp Set and a A2 Clear Box.

I cut a piece of designer paper in red gingham to be 2" x 4.50" long and taped it to the front of my clear box.

Then I added some twine...to the front, to add a cute detail.

Cute & simple!  Now I have a gift set of cards for a friend!
Here's the Jane's Doodles stamp I used.

Thanks for stopping by!

Home Decor Vinyl by Christine

SRM's new spring colors of vinyl are great for cutting with electronic machines but sometimes you just need a nice background and need a simple cut.  They work great for that too!  Christine joining you today with a home deocr piece that I made for our newly redecorated master bedroom.

When I saw this pastel blue vinyl I knew it would be perfect to use in our Master Bedroom.  I picked up this undecroated frame at a big box store.  I measured and cut out a piece of the vinyl to fit in the center and then decorated it from there with more SRM goodies!

I wanted a soft romantic touch to the frame but still with a modern feel.  Enter burlap, lace, and vellum - perfect for creating that look!  The frame came with six clips to hang things from and although I could have removed some, I liked the look of six.  I knew I wanted to do two pictures so that left four open.  I attached the circle sticker from the Fancy Sentiments/Thinking of You set to white cardstock and cut that out to fill one clip.  I also added a small circle from the Fancy Sentiments/Love set to a tag for another clip.

Then came the last two clips which happen to be my favorite!  First I used 4" lace and ran it through a manual die cut machine to cut it into a heart.  I then added a smaller burlap heart on top of the lace.  I used titles from the We've Got Your Sticker Happy and We've Got Your Sticker Forever on top of vellum to add some big words to the frame.

What would you do with these beautiful new patterned vinyls?

The colors are delicious!

Congrats Smarty by Shantaie

Graduation is around the corner!  Before you know it final exams and choosing senior pictures will be all anyone with a graduating student at home can talk about! Trust me I have been down the cap and gown road twice!

Shantaie here today to share a fun graduation party favor.

Along with graduation comes parties, gifts, and celebrations! (claps hands) Yay! I do love favors, and when they are quick, cost effective and clever....well they go straight to the head of the class!  Here I have filled the clear treat bag with smarties not only a super cute pun but it only takes 3 rolls to fill one bag! (Very cost effective!)

Topping the bags is a layered scalloped circle made from black medium punched pieces and a gold circle, a purple circle and adorable graduation cap stickers from stickers by the dozen graduation and tied on a tag with natural twine using a sentiment I printed, I also added the borders from the stickers by the dozen graduation along the bag.

Don't wait too long to get started.  Graduation is such a big accomplishment! Celebrate it and show your student how very proud you are! Most of all have fun!

Bloom & Grow by Michele

Good morning! Michele here with a couple of Easter treat boxes.
I cut the boxes using my Silhouette, used loads of glitter, and some die cut felt flowers.

I tied the tops with satin pink ribbon, a scattering of sequins, and of course, an SRM sticker! The stickers are part of the Spring/Sentiment collection. I seem to be reaching for this set of sentiments a lot this time of year!  I placed each sticker on a piece of vellum and cut it into a strip.  I tucked it under the flower and glued it in place.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Bible Journaling with Christine

Have you had a chance to try out our Bible Journaling stamps yet? They are so handy for this art and create a beautiful clear image!  Christine joining you today to share a Bible Journaling piece on 2 Thessalonians 3:16.

I don't do my journaling straight into my Bible - I prefer to do it on a sturdy piece of cardstock and slide it inside my Bible at that location.  For this one I did a watercolored background!

I used both the Words of Faith Stamp set and the Big Faith stamp set on this piece.  Life has definitely presented some challenges to me lately - so you will notice I'm giving myself a bit of a pep talk on trusting the Lord!

I created the actual verse on the project using a combination of letter stickers (outlined with my Black Le Pen!) and stamping.  Then I stamped onto White Medium Punched Pieces and added my journaling onto those.  They were the perfect size for working on this!

Planner Guest Designer - Yvonne Yam

We are excited to welcome Yvonne Yam today as a guest designer.  Yvonne is a true artist and she's turning her planner into a work of art! Let's take a look….
and let's hear from Yvonne in her own words.

Hello, Yvonne here and so happy to be back on the SRM Blog.  I've always loved their products and I was excited to be part of their design team in
2013-2014.

I love it when the little bits and pieces in my stash get used up...even though it takes a long long long time to even make a dent in that stash...I'm sure you know what I mean. *winks*

I'm currently enjoying my monthly planner spreads [daily and weekly are just too much work for me!] even though I've essentially completed only one month. *haha...fingers crossed that I can keep up with it!*  SRM's Calendar Companion is perfect for my planner and so many bits and pieces that it should last me quite a while!

It's been fun fitting in the little bits of scrap paper, adding personal touches like a painted face and using found objects in my "save-it-for-a-rainy-day" stash in my planner. :)

Like an ice-cream stick. It is lightweight and has a cool texture. :)
By the waydo you spy some SRM?  These clear stickers are perfect for planners or any kind of mixed media.   SRM's Cooking clear stickers are included on many of my projects.  "What's For Dinner" is a daily question in my house! :)

My partial girl's face was from a scrap piece of watercolour practice.paper that I tested my new watercolour pencils on.

Like most of you, my real schedule is stored electronically. This physical planner is just a way to jot down some memories that I may not scrapbook about and to use up my scraps.:)

Thanks for dropping by.  And be sure to share your planner projects with us on Planner Sticker Fun Facebook group.

Happy Planning!

Water Colored Egg by Michele

Good morning! Michele here with a water colored Easter egg shaped card! The card was cut using my Silhouette.  I then stamped it, embossed it in white, and water colored it.

I cut numerous felt flowers to sort of "frame" the sentiment, which is part of SRM's Spring Sentiment collection.  I added a bit of ribbon and a few sequins scattered here and there.  :)

And here's another version of an egg shaped card.  I tend to do that when I craft....make multiples of the same layout or shape.  It is always fun to show the same type of card with different colors, textures etc.  For this Easter egg, I went with much softer colors.  Even the background is more muted. I used a sentiment from the same SRM's Spring Sentiment collection.

Love how this one turned out!  Here's another view…

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Happy Spring!

St. Patrick's Day Memories by Clare Buswell

Today we take a walk down memory lane as I share with you some projects from 2011 from Clare Buswell who lives in Ireland.  What better person to show us St. Patrick''s Day projects?  Her work is timeless.

First up is a card and tubes all embellished with stickers and felt badges.  How fun! I love how Clare created a pattern of Irish words using SRM's St. Patrick's Day Express Yourself clear stickers.

And here's another card that is embossed and embellished with ribbon, twine, a button and some clear SRM Stickers.  Now how's that for gold at the end of the rainbow?

We have been blessed with so many wonderful design team members.  Clare is one of the most talented!  How fun to travel down memory lane with Clare's creations on this St. Patrick's Day!

Hope you have a wonderful St. Paddy's Day!
Here's an Irish Blessing to enjoy during your day.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

Hippity Hoppity by Michele

Good morning!
Michele here with a fun Easter card to share today!

I found this cute bunny and couldn't resist making a card with it.  I used various coordinating strips of patterned paper for the background, and bit of ribbon, and of course an SRM Sticker!

The sticker is part of the Spring Sentiment's  collection.  I thought it was  perfect for this little guy!

So glad to be "hippity hopping" into spring! ;)
Have a wonderful day!

March Planner Pages by Christine

March is an awesome month for planner addicts this year because you get to cover both St. Patrick's Day, Spring,  and Easter.  Makes it super fun to customize the planner that way!  Christine joining you today to share a St. Patrick's themed spread and a Spring themed spread from my March planner.

I'm not Irish at all, but I sure do love all the cute St. Patrick's Day supplies out there! I incorporated a sticker from the Express Yourself/St. Patrick's Day set.

I also used lots of planner stamps on here!  I loved using the Clear Stamp/Planner Banner set for creating my lines on the individual spaces.  Super handy!

The Clear Stamp/Planner Notes to Self were perfect headliners for my grid spaces.

Don't those colors just make you feel warm!?! I've only done fall and winter spreads in my planner so this was a breath of fresh air

I used Calendar Months/Large Snappy to add my "March" in the column.  I also again used the stamp set to make my lines - but this time I used the one with the flowers instead of the hearts.

I used the Little Borders/Summer to separate the rows of my planner - the yellow ones screamed sunshine!  And of course the perfect final touch was Black Sticker Stitches.

Spring Notes by Annette

Happy Day SRM Stickers Friends...
Annette Allen here with you today.

Today I am getting crafty with:
SRM Stickers...

Spring is around the corner and I am thinking of bright pretty colors.

The background is watercolor. I used Copic Sketch markers to color these lovely flowers to match the card. Did you know that you could color SRM Stickers with Copic Markers? You can also use Chameleon Pens. It drys almost instantly so no smearing.

I used one of the borders from SRM Stamps: Stamped Stitches #1 to stamp on each card.

I also added a little May Arts burlap string just because I can. Fun way to welcome spring with a sweet note to your friend or special someone. Fill their day with bright colors.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a crafty sweet day.
