Hello!  LESLEY here with some goodies for the holiday season.
Christmas is close and I have been busy whipping up some fun gift card sets that I can use for hostesses!

I decided to use a SMALL CLEAR PILLOW BOX with a DOILY and some sticker sentiments from the  FANCY SENTIMENT CHRISTMAS STICKERS and STICKER SENTIMENT WINTER.

I created some poinsettias with punches and added some gold accents and sequins to both my card and clear pillow box. SO easy but nice to fill with a gift card or some treats.

Easy Thanksgiving Place Cards by Lorena

Hello, SRM friends! Lorena here with a quick and easy project to spice up your Thanksgiving table. With all the cooking for this special holiday, I thought it would be nice to share an idea for something that will add a nice little detail to the table without taking a lot of time.

I used the Quick Cards / Thanksgiving stickers That font is so bold and elegant at the same time!

To make this place cards, simply cut a cardstock rectangle and score it to get a nice clean crease. Once you have the card bases, die cut a stitched rectangle from colored cardstock and adhere the stickers (you may need to do some trimming).  I wanted to add a subtle detail, so I die cut, stamped and heat embossed a little sprig from my stash, and adhered it with foam tape.

You could also use a dried wheat sprig for this, and maybe finish it with a nice little twine bow. SRM has the most gorgeous twine for you to choose! I particularly like CappuccinoMarigold, and Gold Shimmer for Fall.

And there you have it, pretty little Thanksgiving place cards made in no time. Thanks for stopping by and happy, happy crafting :)

Homespun Hostess Gifts by Lesley

Hello SRM fans! LESLEY here! Christmas is coming and this year I plan to have some "Hostess Gifts" ready for all of the marvelous Christmas parties we will attend! I decided to use the versatile BURLAP BAGS with some LACE and stickers to create some sweet little treats.

SRM Stickers Blog - Homespun Hostess Gifts by Lesley - #giftbag #christmas #burlapbgag #fancysentiments #stickers #lace #llabelsbythedozen #golddoilies #gold #doilies #canvas #tags #DIY

I found this cute "Chalkboard" ornament and decided to decorate it with some paper, washi tape and a sentiment from the FANCY SENTIMENT CHRISTMAS STICKERS.

The LACE is SO easy to use and really dresses up the burlap!

I also wanted to make a bag to hold some "sweet treats" and I used the LABELS BY THE DOZEN-MADE BY STICKERS. They are so sweet and I thought the gingham suited the burlap bag! Of course, Christmas is all about gold and shine, so I used a GOLD LACE DOILY to dress up the CANVAS TAG.

What a lovely pair of homespun hostess gifts these would make!

Christmas Stocking by Christine

The new Burlap Stockings are perfect for the upcoming holiday season and right on trend with all the burlap out there!  Christine joining you today to show how I decorated mine using some of our new patterned vinyl.  If you are thinking, wait what!?! Patterned vinyl on burlap? Well I will explain later on why this can be a really good option!

I love the look of the Burlap Stocking with Red Trim and was excited to get my hands on it.  I used my electronic die cutting maching to cut out some of the Patterned Vinyl in Red Dots to make the word Joy. I added that to the stocking.  It sticks really well but is not permanent.  I actually kind of like that because it's on there well enough that it isn't going to fall off, but if I want to pull it off and change it up next year to match new decor, I can!

I also used some 2 inch Lace to decorate the top portion of the stocking.  I attached that using liquid fabric glue.  Can you go wrong with combining burlap and lace? I don't think so!  I also added some ribbon and little ornaments to the stocking hook.  I did this mostly to bring in some additional color and interest.

Christmas is coming up fast!   Snag some of these beautiful stockings now and add a personal touch to your home decor this year!

Hoppy Birthday! by Michele

Michele here with a non holiday card for you!
People are still having birthdays in the midst of Thanksgiving and Christmas right? ;)  I couldn't resist using these adorable frogs in the Garden Friends set by Jane's Doodles. I stamped them on top of each other using a light brown ink. I water colored each of the frogs as well as the sky and grass.

SRM Stickers Blog - Hoppy Birthday! by Michele - #card #janesdoodles #gardenfriends #watercolor #birthday

I added black enamel to the eyes and once that was dry, added glossy accents to the rest of the eye for some fun dimension!

SRM Stickers Blog - Hoppy Birthday! by Michele - #card #janesdoodles #gardenfriends #watercolor #birthday

With a white gel pen I added dots to the frogs'spots, a bit of silk ribbon, and my sentiment stamped at the bottom.  :)

Have a hoppy day!

Guest Designer - Planner by Corri Garza

Today we are excited to welcome former SRM design team member Corri Garza as a guest designer.

SRM Stickers Blog - Guest Designer - Planner by Corri Garza - #planner #november #guestdesigner #littleborders #stickers #freestyle #calendarcompanion #everydaylife

Corri is currently a member of multiple design teams including Silhouette Circle, (a team of bloggers handpicked by Silhouette America), Lori Whitlock, Paper Issues and Scrapping Moms design teams.  Corri is very busy with work and crafting and she loves her Plum Paper Planner using lots of SRM Stickers.

Let's take a look at Corri's planner pages for this week in November with a description from Corri in her own words!

--------------------------

Hello!  Corri here am sharing my weekly planner spread using a variety of stickers from SRM.  I like my planner to be pretty but functional and the SRM Stickers are perfect.

I used the Halloween – Little Borders (a new product coming in January) to cover up the check list headers on the bottom of my spread.  These covered the headers perfectly in my Plum Paper Planner.  They are the black dot borders at the bottom of both pages.  They are fabulous for planners!  Quick and easy decorating, adding a touch of color and design.

I also used some borders from the FreeStyle Spring sticker page to section off the upper part of my pages.  These stickers were a perfect match for my planner.

SRM Stickers Blog - Guest Designer - Planner by Corri Garza - #planner #november #guestdesigner #littleborders #stickers #freestyle #calendarcompanion #everydaylife

I used several elements from the Calendar Companion set.  I used the stars to mark my work days.

The leaves stickers coordinated with my color scheme and are perfect for embellishing.

I used the arrow from the Calendar Companion set to highlight some important events taking place this week and added a polka dot border from the We’ve Got Your Border – Wedding to create bullet points for my busiest day.  Thursday is a crazy day at our house.

And a “Life is Good” sentiment from the Express Yourself – Everyday Life set to highlight my weekend.

Christmas Ornament or Christmas Tag by Annette

Happy Day SRM Stickers Friends...
Annette Allen here with you today to share some fun Christmas Ornaments or Tags.

Time to get excited for Christmas.
I like to get a head start on my Christmas projects.

Today I am playing with SRM Stickers:

I found these cute wood tags and adhered a White Lace Doilies (4" round) to it.  Trim the extra lace around the tag.

Next I stamped the images from Jane's Doodles: Tis The Season! on a scrap piece of card-stock.
Color, trim and set aside.

Got to have some fun snow on this cute ornament.
You can buy this at any craft store in the Christmas section.

Time to piece it all together.
Choose your favorite SRM Stickers and adhere to the ornament.
The stickers stick perfectly.. make sure and trim around the ornament.
Using foam adhesives pop those fun colored images.
I used May Arts burlap string for hanging the ornaments and you are done.

Simple and Sweet.
Christmas Ornament.. Christmas Tag..
Whatever you choose have fun with it.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Crafting.

Burlap Stocking with Lace by Shantaie

Hello!  Shantaie  joining you today with some holiday ideas.

Decorating for the Holidays is a chore I truly love, I allow myself lots of time to put things up and enjoy the memories that each decoration brings me, I'm a lover of vintage meets modern, in my crafting, my decorating and my wardrobe.

SRM Stickers Blog - Burlap Stocking with Lace by Shantaie - #christmas #stocking #burlap #vintage, #stickers #lace #shimmertwine #twine #altered #DIY

This burlap stocking is a lacey layered confection of vintage style but with a few modern twists. It was quick to put together and I could easily make enough for the whole family in a night, or make a few for a beautiful way to present a gift!

SRM Stickers Blog - Burlap Stocking with Lace by Shantaie - #christmas #stocking #burlap #vintage, #stickers #lace #shimmertwine #twine #altered #DIY

I added a glass glitter trim to the Holiday sticker sentiment, and cut my 2" lace ribbon into strips and tied it into a bow along with a fuzzy yarn and some seam binding for a wispy ribbon cluster. the chandelier tear drop is tied on with shimmer twine and that pom pom trim is from a bag of vintage trims I picked up at an estate sale.

This is the perfect way to use those little strips of trim you have in addition to the lace ribbon.I did sew the 4" lace around the entire cuff, and the other strips were layered on top in varying lengths, for an eclectic look. I think I may use this one on my front door in place of a wreath! Wouldn't that be pretty?!

Thanks for stopping by!

Mini Calendar Frame by Christine

Mini Calendars are the perfect item to make for little gifts for the upcoming holiday season! Christine joining you today with a Mini Calendar that hangs in a frame that is perfect to set on a desk.

SRM Stickers Blog - Mini Calendar Frame by Christine - #minicalendar #2016 #altered #DIY #stickers #stitches #die

Using several things can make this project a quick and easy one!  I used some ready made tags as the base for each month.   The tags came in a variety of colors and since I love color I went with that!  But you could just as easily do it with all white tags or black or kraft and make it less bright!  The Wafer Thin Die for the Decorative Calendar made cutting out the Decorative Calendars fast!  I cut out a simple patterned paper and put that on each tag.  I then used the metal die cut to cut out the calendar stickers and mounted those to the white cardstock.  I added those to the center.  Once they were done I added them to a jump ring.

SRM Stickers Blog - Mini Calendar Frame by Christine - #minicalendar #2016 #altered #DIY #stickers #stitches #die

I took the glass part out of this standing frame and then put my jump ring at the top so the tags were hanging down and can be flipped over for each new month.

SRM Stickers Blog - Mini Calendar Frame by Christine - #minicalendar #2016 #altered #DIY #stickers #stitches #die

To add some variety I used different sticker stitches throughout - some got white!

SRM Stickers Blog - Mini Calendar Frame by Christine - #minicalendar #2016 #altered #DIY #stickers #stitches #die

Some got black sticker stitches!  Our stitches are available in both stickers and stamps lots of options there!  I'm partial to the stickers so I went that route but it wouldn't be any more difficult to do the stamps!

We can't wait to see what you've been creating with the 2016 Mini Calendars!
