Here are a few Summer projects to spark your creative side... First up, a card by Jane Beljo. Love the stitching! When you spend that much time adding stitched detail, it's nice to attach a ready-made sentiment;

Virginia Lu created a pair of Summer wands for the hostess of a pool party. She used our Wet n Wild Stickers and filled the wands with jelly beans;

Ribbit Wands

The talented Jane Beljo created a set of wands for her daughter's preschool class and they are as cute as can be! Jane started by creating stamped and die cut tags;

And filled the Wands with Skittles;

As you can imagine, the preschoolers were thrilled to receive their own special Wands as their group is named the 'Froggies'!

Altered Chipboard Dress Tutorial by Tanya

Tanya Tahir created this altered dress card for our Bazzill feature and she's back today to share her technique.

Prepare a card base using pink cardstock and brown dot paper. Add a white SRM Sticker sentiment and some faux stitching using a white pen.

Cover a chipboard dressform with patterned paper and adhere Bazzill "Just The Edge" cardstock strips.

Flip the dressform over, trim strips, and add pearl accents.

Continue embellishing the dressform with beads, butterflies, and gemstones.

Adhere dressform to cardfront and you're finished!

DIY Chipboard Tutorial by Virginia

Virginia Lu created a tutorial with a simple and fun formula; Diecut + Coffee Sleeves = Personalized Chipboard!

Gather the supplies and chose the diecut shape that you want to use;

Run the Cuttlebug/Big Shot like you normally die cut the pieces (bottom-A plate, middle-C plate, diecut piece facing up, coffee sleeves, B plate on top);

After cutting them out, you can stamp or paint them. Here I painted the "chipboard" with Rangers Acrylic Paint Dabbers (Sunshine Yellow, Red Pepper,Sunset Orange), let dry;

You can add more colors and textures by stamping over the chipboard;

You can choose any size or shape to customize them for your card or scrapbook layout. The best thing is that SRM Stickers work so beautifully with them;

And...the results!

More Tubes & Wands!

Renee took a fun platic cup from a restaurant and repurposed it to serve as a gift holder. The tube contains gumballs and the little card completes the ensemble - what a perfect little birthday gift;

Melanie created a set of 10 pretzel-filled tubes for a baseball team in under 30 minutes using our Baseball stickers;

Christine filled a tube with sunflower seeds and created a sunflower topper. The tag uses SRM Stickers from our "Water Fun" collection;

How vibrant and fun are these rainbow wands by Amy?! She kept the rainbow theme by filling the wands with Skittles candy. The topper, SRM "Make a Wish" sticker and ribbon finish off these special wands;

Gift Sets by Christine

Christine Traversa created a pair of WAND gift sets that would make anyone smile. Christine's first project is a Starbucks gift set. The wand holds coffee beans. Inside a Starbucks mug filled with vanilla scones and more coffee. The curly paper is quilling paper. Christine matted and adhered a SRM Sticker onto a coffee bag.

Christine was inspired by a design in a home decor catalog. She had always wanted to work with Wheat Grass so she designed place setting holders using home decor pieces, Bo Bunny paper, Spellbinders Dies, Cardstock, SRM WANDS, her computer, quilling paper, and coffee beans (inside of the wands). She also created a coordinating table decor item using SRM Stickers. She plans to have these serve as take-home gift for her dinner guests.
