Celebrate Life by Jing-Jing

Welcome back! This is always an exciting time of the month at SRM Stickers -- our current challenge is wrapping up and our new challenge/guest designer contest is about to begin! Today is the last day to enter our May Contest with your version of our theme, "Celebrate Life". You'll always find our current challenge details over there on the sidebar for quick reference. I'll be announcing our challenge winner/July Guest Designer later this week. Stay tuned for June Contest details, they're comin' tomorrow.

I also have a card for ya, created by...me! I got crafty this weekend, did you? Of course my stash of SRM Stickers came in handy with this card. I spent a lot of time coloring my image and by the time I was finished I just wanted a quick and easy sentiment. I used SRM Stickers' "Thanks" Quick Card set, I simply remove the brackets with a pair of scissors. Easy breezy!

SRM & SEI - "Claire"

It's day two of our SEI Feature! Thanks for stopping by. You can scroll down to see what the Design Team created using SEI's "Joceleyn" Collection. Today we're showcasing "Claire"...a soft and sophisticated line with a gentle pop of color. Kathy's take on SRM Stickers; "One of the many things that I love about SRM stickers is you have so many sentiments in different sizes and fonts on one page that it makes card designing a snap. I always find the right sticker and save a lot of time without having to search through my stamps or print a sentiment off on my computer. It's easy to add faux stitching and embossing to the stickers too. The definition part of the stickers sheets are my favorite and can't compare to any stamp. Can you tell that I really do love these stickers and I love being a part of this wonderful design team. This is NOT a paid advertisement...lol. Once you purchase or win some of these stickers you will see what I am taking about."

Tree Cards by Deana

Take a look at what Deana's been up to...creating beautiful, 3-D cards using punches and SRM Stickers;



Like many of us, Deana loves SRM Stickers and here's why: I remember Susan saying once that SRM Stickers are highly addictive and she is SO RIGHT! I LOVE that these clear stickers are so much easier to use than rub-ons. I'm one of those people who can somehow find a way to make the paper slip when I'm trying to adhere one and/or my rub-on just doesn't peel all the way off... you know what I mean! These clear stickers are the PERFECT solution! They work seemlessly over everything and I use them for scrapbooking, card-making & gift-giving. I can't get enough... I'm officially addicted!

Celebrate Life by Tanis

Tanis, one of our expert card makers, created a few cards to recognize our May theme, Celebrate Life. Her first card uses our Father's Day Stickers, it's nearing that time of year... Masculine cards are often challenging but SRM Stickers can help with that!

When asked about how she feels about SRM Stickers, this is what Tanis had to say; As soon as I got my crafty fingers on SRM's stickers, I knew I could never be without them. Since I'm a card maker, my favourite sheets are the sentiment stickers, but I'm discovering that there are SO MANY of the themed sheets that I love using for my cards. AND if I can't find a sticker that says exactly what I need, I just mix and match. The possibilities are endless and the quality is amazing. A DEFINITE must have in any paper crafter's collection!

Celebrate Life Theme by Amy Heller

Hi all! Amy's here today with her take on our May theme; Celebrate Life. Amy created a layout using several SRM Stickers to document and memorialize an everyday moment in her house. She captured our theme and 'everyday giggles' perfectly!












Here are Amy's thoughts on SRM Stickers; There are so many things I LOVE about SRM Stickers. They truly have become indispensable to my daily paper crafting. I use them on just about everything I create - cards, layouts, mini albums, altered items - they really are that versatile! One of my favorite aspects to the sheets are that you can trim up the stickers how you like, and create a truly unique sentiment or title. Because the material is so seamless and melts into your paper, no one knows you altered the original sticker! They are completely customizable to your needs -the perfect solution for any crafter!

Newsprint Flowers by Becky

Welcome back! We have a Tuesday Tutorial by Becky Williams, SRM Designer. She used SRM Stickers, cardstock, and her punches to create her own custom flower embellishments;


1. Choose your favorite SRM stickers. These can be all black ink or you can mix it up by adding in some of the more colorful sayings. I used "Happy Birthday".




2. Adhere stickers to cardstock or patterned paper.




3. Punch out with your favorite shape punches or die cut.








Tip: Make sure that your punches are nice and sharp because the stickers can be a bit tricky to cut through. You can sharpen your punches by cutting through a piece of aluminum foil a few times.


4. Ink the edges or add doodling as desired and then use as embellishments for your scrapbook pages or cards. You can layer with chipboard, buttons, etc. or use as-is.



With all of the SRM stickers available the possibilities are endless! Some others that you could try would be: I love you, Congratulations, Thinking of you. Enjoy!

Helen says: "I cannot believe how lush these stickers go onto wood aswell! I've used them on the outer edges, on the patterned paper inserts and to decorate the sides of the 'walls' (bottom row, middle box), oh, and finished off with a tag."
